It was installed on a 26. I believe 16-16.5” blades are recommended depending on the model of W27 commonly found on the 30s.
Thanks for for your interest. Mark
What size Nonsuch was it ordered for?
This feathering propeller was used with a Westerbeke 21 hp marine diesel and worked flawlessly. The boat was moved to Harrison Lake which does not have a travel lift to facilitate the required routine maintenance. Fixed prop was reinstalled to minimize maintenance.
The prop was mounted on a 1" shaft with right-hand rotation. The removable blades currently have a diameter of 15.5" with a pitch of 20 degrees. Both the diameter and pitch of the propeller can be changed to suit the new boat. With new blades the diameter of the propeller can range from 14.5 to 19.5 inches. The boss is rated from 15 to 60 horsepower.
The new owner will need to complete the recommend annual maintenance before reinstalling the prop. Annual maintenance includes greasing, anti-fouling, checking the spring tension, and resealing as directed in the included user's manual. Replacement of the shaft key, M8 locking screws (x2) and reversing roller hex screws (x3) would likely be best for the new install. Likely good idea to check in with manufacturer about possible hardware upgrades to current spec. Serial number on boss.
