1990 Nonsuch 30 Ultra, Mirthin, hull number 513, located Toronto, Ontario Canada. Mirthin is in very good condition, it is often admired and complimented upon.

The plan was to retrofit Mirthin so that we could escape to Caribbean. So, an extensive component and system modernization/replacement program was undertaken to ensure that the vessel would be in excellent condition (and upgraded to modern codes) for the years we planned to spend in the Blue Waters.  Since the Covid Pandemic and other changes in circumstances, we are now offering Mirthin to a knowledgeable buyer, who is looking for a vessel right now, without the delay and expense, that is equipped for long term cruising. In other words, you can sail her away immediately. A recent 2022 survey is available.

Mirthin is equipped with a Yanmar 3GM30F, 2000 estimated hours. All the water and fuel pumps have been recently replaced, along with motor mounts, all the belts and hoses. A new prop shaft, cutlass bearing and stuffing box have been installed.

All navigation, autopilot, radar, sonar and radio are recent Raymarine with completely new wiring harnesses and installed on a new binnacle. Also, new systems monitoring gauges for battery, fuel, water and waste tanks have been retrofitted.

A Dockstar thruster with key fob remote has been installed on the stern.

The 120 VAC system has been completely replaced with approved stranded wire and GFIs, and includes a Mastervolt Mass 100A Charger/Inverter combo.

The refrigeration system has been replaced and includes a freezer portion complete with ice cube racks.  It is also fitted with a saltwater pump cooling system for tropical seas.

The interior wood paneling has been refinished. A recent custom foam mattress for the Pullman Berth.

Stereo system with speakers and handheld charging station.

Recent North Radian Sail (2016) that has been annually cleaned, serviced with new sail slides fitted and a sail bag.  Mast has been surveyed by Mike Quill with all blocks rebuilt, with recent rubber fittings and new topping cable and safety.

The recent Dodger and Bimini are a complete enclosure with screens and the front windows are rainproof.

The Wastewater tank has been replaced with a new polyethylene one with an additional vent. A recent freshwater pump has been installed.

The Keel has been resealed and torque, and the complete bottom refinished.

Included is a 9-foot Walker Bay dingy with inflatable floor, a Mercury 4 hp 4 stroke outboard (new in the box never used), dingy and motor hanger on a custom reinforced rear deck.

Anchor windlass, two bow anchors, one with chain and lode, the other rope.

Hauled out and kept in a cradle, with a GENCO Cover over winter.

Lots more information, pictures and equipment list available.
