The Nonsuch 26 is one of the most beloved pocket cruisers ever built, known for its remarkable interior space, stability, and effortless single-handed sailing. This 1982 Classic has been thoughtfully upgraded and actively sailed every season on the Hudson River.
A brand-new 2026 Mack Sails mainsail with Mack Pack, combined with an electric mainsail-hoisting winch, makes sail handling exceptionally convenient. The distinctive unstayed cat rig keeps sailing simple, while the spacious cockpit, dodger, bimini, and rare swim platform make this an excellent boat for relaxed afternoons and weekend cruising.
Significant recent investments in the electrical system, sails, and onboard comfort make this a particularly attractive Nonsuch 26.

Condition & Ownership
The boat has been enjoyed and sailed regularly during the current owner's three years of ownership. The Westerbeke starts readily and runs smoothly, with very little motoring required thanks to its convenient Hudson River location.
The hull and deck are reported to be solid, with no known soft spots, blisters, or water leaks. Interior cushions and woodwork are in excellent condition.
The autopilot has not been tested during current ownership, and the wind instrument requires a replacement masthead sensor. The original propane heater has been removed from service but remains available with the boat.
Reason for sale: Moving up to a larger 35-foot sailboat.
Available for inspection and sea trial at Liberty Landing Marina, Jersey City, New Jersey.
