A significant factor in our $49,500 USD asking price is the long-term value provided by our recent $60,000+ USD engine replacement, the most costly system to replace in the boat. In 2022, we made the decision to fully repower the boat with a brand-new Yanmar diesel engine and transmission. The project involved two years of ongoing work while the boat was stored on the hard. 20-20 hindsight for us is that we should have paid a little more for a Nonsuch with a new engine  and avoided the significant expense and lost sailing years to repower.
